TBP2 - Gecko Initialization error

Hi,


I just installed V2 for testing purpose (V1 is running well). After setting up a google (google.de) task I want to run it and get:


d1_The Type initializer for "Gecko.GeckoPreferences" raised an Exception or in German "d1_Der Typeninitialisierer für "Gecko.GeckoPreferences" hat eine Ausnahme verursacht".


System is Windows Server 2012.


UPDATE:


Seems to have something to do with Administrator privileges. Although I run the software as admin, I get the following error after clicking "Settings" in a task:

"Load browser DLL file failed, please run it again using administrator rights!".


Your software is in general useful but we had this on some updates already, that your testing sucks. Those kind of errors do not have to happen if you test your software in a user environment instead of your dev environment.

Um das JIT-Debuggen (Just-In-Time) zu aktivieren, muss in der
Konfigurationsdatei der Anwendung oder des Computers
(machine.config) der jitDebugging-Wert im Abschnitt system.windows.forms festgelegt werden.
Die Anwendung muss mit aktiviertem Debuggen kompiliert werden.


Zum Beispiel:

Wenn das JIT-Debuggen aktiviert ist, werden alle nicht behandelten
Ausnahmen an den JIT-Debugger gesendet, der auf dem
Computer registriert ist, und nicht in diesem Dialogfeld behandelt.

So sorry for the late reply guys.


Here is the solution:

Open the directory file of TrafficBotPro2, then download and install the 2 tips in the read.me file at the end. Then check if your issue can be solved.

The program starts, but throws errors while running.


After doing the update, now I get several errors after clicking on "Settings" in a google Task:


  1. "mozglue.dll" is not found
  2. "C:\Program Files (x86)\xulrunner60.0_x64" (without any further info)
  3. "Path not found error "C:\Program Files (x86)\xulrunner60.0_x64" which is strange because 64-Bit files have nothing to do in x86 directory. And on my 64-Bit system there is only a "C:\Program Files (x86)\xulrunner60.0_x86" directory
  4. "Load browser DLL file failed, please run it again using administrator rights!"

Na, just tried it again, same error chain as in my previous post still there.


Every time I start the V2, it downloads xulrunner 64 Bit version into C:\Program Files (x86)


If I click settings or run a task the errors occure and the whole directory of xulrunner 64 disappears from C:\Program Files (x86)

I have the same issue. I tried it on a different box and it worked. It seems like the machine with Firefox 63.0.1 works, but the one with Firefox 66.0.5 gives the error. Also the machine with Firefox 66.0.5 keeps downloading the xulrunner. Both are Windows 10.
