Custom index don't save results to variable (control type)

Operating System:Windows 10

Operating System Bit:64bit

Software Version:4.2.3

When I do a Find Action of a control with index variable and test it, it's ok.
But the saved variable (control type) returns false.


Is it a bug or I'm doing it wrong.



If I check Enable new search algorithm, it returns true, but I lose the index (always returns first index)

This one means it will only get the first index. So if you check it, it will only get the first index.

I know :).... but I need to select a random control, but If action only returns true for the first element. If I use a var for item index (first image of my original post), it search ok the control, but the if action returns always false

If you have customized the index option, please do not check this option "Enable new search algorithm"

I don't check these option. But custom index return true in If function.

We tested this function, it works normal. And if it returns to false on the If action, then it is correct. Besides, if it has searched out 10 results, the custom index value you input must be smaller than 10.

I just added a Control Operate (click) in your test file (If true), but it returns false, so click operation is missed

I think you have made a mistake for this action. Once this control has been found, it will return false, otherwise it will return true.

Yes, I was totally wrong . I assumed that when I found the control, the function would have to return 'true'.
